JUICE2: Making the invisible visible

So , I don't know if anyone did but i went to the Juice2 Lecture on Friday.
I went to
PETER JONES, Ph.D. Principal, Redesign Research Managing Partner, Dialogic Design lecture and here's what i got from it.

The first question that was asked to us was: what is Participatory Design or PD? Well PD is basically when you involve the 'user' in the design process. Creating this more effective dialog and design process. Process often used in creating a product.
So why not use Participatory Design to social issues? Dr. Jones goes into explaining how to conduct a PD for CCPs? (complex continuing problems. These problem are known to persist during the years and there is 49 CCPs in the world and they are mostly social issues) he suggest that we reunite all the element of a CCP in a room and by using a software that he works on, find solutions to these social issues. But the big challenge is not to bring the society leaders but the 'real' stakeholders in a CCP; the victims. In a situation where we are talking about poverty as a one of the biggest CCP, it is hard to bring all the poor people in one room.
