We have a lot of "recycle projects (use recycle material to make a sculptrue, jewelry, model and so on)" in OCAD every year. My idea is find a room in OCAD to storage the recycle material we collected (been clean & packed). OCAD student can exchange anything they needed for their project. For example: 10 plastic bottle exchange 2 magazine/10 cans ... We can put anything that is recycle in order and students take turns to be the "storage room" assistant and organize this event.
I always find not enough material for my "recycle projects", such as i wan to use cans as my materials and i only drink ice-tea, that limits my materil color (if i want somthing red as coke cans). OCAD is an ART SCHOOL, most of the materials that we use are paper, we can also collected our used paper to make recycle paper and print our school advertisment on. This would helps people view us as "green school/ green artist" .
Starts form everyone of us !!! That's my idea for "OCAD GREEN" !!!
