For my groups project "Did OCAD Make the Green Grade" we did the OCAD building and I was incharge of the roof of OCAD. An issue that came up in our discussions with Peter Lashko, Director of Facilities Planning and Management was the Green Roof. He said that it would cost way to much and that OCAD cannot afford such a thing. I think that it would be a great asset to our community seeing as how we are an environmentaly friendly school. If we could think of a way to raise the money or something to make a step forward to getting a green roof that would be quite the accomplishment. I know that a few people in the class are interested in this project and we can gather all our information in class and find out what we need to do to make this work.
