As consumerism grows, the earth suffers:
"Approximately 1.7 billion people worldwide now belong to the "consumer class"—the group of people characterized by diets of highly processed food, desire for bigger houses, more and bigger cars, higher levels of debt, and lifestyles devoted to the accumulation of non-essential goods."

This is sad, but it's the truth too.. as human beings drifting further and further away from nature and our environment (meaning our earth), we leaves terrible marks and suffer earth.. the question is, what we can do to make more people aware of this? people gets so used to what they are having now, and looking for more... it's like us, if we grew up with all these technology and consumer goods, would anyone really willing to do without that? Consumerism is like falling into a deep pit and never be able to get out of it.
