Our trip to Kensington Market was quite the interesting experience, it really gave us a chance to look at the area in a new light. Becoming aware of the amount of history behind each street corner, each building, each storefront made the area really take on a whole new shape and feel.
Our group managed to locate about 15 different murmur location, and among those, our favourite story of the more lighthearted commentaries involving an animal in Kensington Market. This guy was wandering around the streets of Kensington Market in the dead of the night, around 3 or 4 in the morning, and right on the street in front of the laundromat was a deer, or "a real wild deer", as he put it. It was a simple story, but we found the shock of the man seeing wildlife in the middle of downtown and the random nature of the story pretty darn funny. It's an interesting commentary on the urban invasion of nature.
